Intersect Review

The primary purpose of the review is to provide members with an assessment of the value Intersect has provided to date.

As such, the outcome of the review may be used as an input to the development of the next Intersect Strategic Plan, to cover the period 2014 to 2018.

eResearch Survey Reports

11 December 2012

The aggregated results from all respondents in round two of the eResearch Practices and Requirements Survey are available below. This is the first longitudinal survey into eResearch practices and attitudes in the Australian higher education sector. It first opened in 2009 and was run again in late 2011. More than 1800 participants have now taken part across ten NSW universities. 

Please note:

  • all respondents have been de-identified;
  • confidential, university specific reports were provided to key parties at each participating campus in Q1 2012. 
  • The release of the aggregated report was held over pending participation of one member.
  • Reports from round 1 can be found further down this page below.

The purpose of this document is two-fold. First, it provides our member institutions with a clear statement of intent for how eRAs will spend their time, and how that fits in with Intersect’s more general business strategy. Second, it provides a starting point for each eRA to develop their own institution-specific engagement plan, in conjunction with their institution’s eResearch committee.
